Our first annual Battle for Betsy event presented challenges. We started our charge in the middle of a COVID pandemic. Our first year included a 5 K walk and T-shirt sales. This was the only year Betsy was able to attend, but she smiled the entire time. We were able to raise $10,000 this first year, all of which was donated to the Alzheimer’s Association Longest Day.
